Bullying Prevention and Intervention
Respect for All is an AISD initiative that encourages tolerance and awareness for others. The initiative incorporates social emotional learning, student-led initiatives, and ongoing dialogues in order to reduce violence and build a stronger sense of community understanding within the district. This website not only includes AISD’s bullying and violence policy, but it also includes critical resources for students, parents, and educators. It even incorporates an anonymous place to report bullying, violence, and harassment.
CARY- Council on At Risk Youth
CARY’s mission is to call public attention to the problems, needs and potential successes of at-risk youth; to move prevention and intervention programs into the public school system; and to shift public policies away from prison and jail construction toward prevention and early intervention for at-risk youth.
CARY offers a great deal of research, resources, and programs for those working with At-Risk youth. Check out their website for more information on how to reduce violence, bullying, and risky behavior.
