The CTAN Impact

 

1. CTAN improved the capacity of hundreds of  program-level afterschool employees by conducting five afterschool conferences and Professional Development workshops.
2. CTAN increased program quality through Central Texas by partnering with United Way for Greater Austin to launch the High Scope Youth Quality Improvement System.
3. CTAN increases partnerships with community out-of-school time programs through the use of an active membership model in order to improve collaboration, resource sharing, and overall support.
4. CTAN contributed valuable knowledge to the Out-of-School Time field through the completion of two mapping studies. Through this research, CTAN expose gaps in youth service throughout 12 low-income zip-codes in Travis County.
5. CTAN continues to raise awareness of the needs and accomplishments within the afterschool community of Travis County by hosting and supporting community programs, fundraisers, and events. In particular, CTAN advocates for Out-of-School Time awareness and resources through the annual Lights on Afterschool rallies and CTAN’s annual Breakfast of Champions.
