The Ghisallo Foundation will be presenting Cycle Academy at the 2015 Youth Bike Summit in Seattle, Washington!
From February 13th though 15th, professionals and students will come together at the 2015 Youth Bike Summit to engage in critical conversations around youth, bicycles, education, and advocacy. The three-day event brings together people from many different community arenas to learn how bicycles can be a key vector when discussing positive social change.
This year, The Ghisallo Foundation will be giving a presentation on Cycle Academy, a structured educational program for youth cyclists that focuses on bicycle riding, safety, and maintenance skills as a method to develop both hard and soft skills in children. Importantly, children and youth learn self-sufficiency and how to lead a healthy life-style through the use of hands-on learning, daily bicycle riding, and community service.
Congratulations, Ghisallo Foundation!
